This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) covers the website at www.goldspotmedia.com owned and operated by GoldSpot Media, Inc. (“GoldSpot Media”, the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and any and all applications, products and services provided by us on or through the Site or on the mobile device (“Site”).

GoldSpot Media is committed to establishing and maintaining privacy best practices and to giving users choice with respect to opting-out should they wish that GoldSpot Media not collect, identify or use certain data while using our technology or rendering our services.

Collection of Personal Information on the Site

Collection of Non-Personal Information on the Site

Collection and Use of Personal Information in the mobile environment
Applications and mobile web sites that use GoldSpot Media services do, however, tell us when we have encountered your mobile device at some point (e.g., when you viewed one of our participating web site’s ads). For the mobile web, this is accomplished by reference to a unique ID file that is created on your browser. For applications that use GoldSpot Media services, this is accomplished by referring to a unique ID that is associated with your mobile device.

If you wish to do so, you may disable our ability to recognize this unique ID file by following the directions contained in the Opt-out section below.

Collection and Use of Location-Based Information in the mobile environment
Some mobile phone service providers are required to record the physical location of all devices that use their service. It is possible that GoldSpot Media will receive this information, depending on the mobile phone service provider policies.
Additionally, if you affirmatively opt-in to permit a mobile device, oran application or web site that use GoldSpot Media’s  services,  to know your location, we may collect this information and pass it to the publisher or advertiser.You should review the publisher’s or advertiser’s posted privacy policy of the device manufacturer, application developer, publisher, or advertiserto understand how it will use the information you so provide.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information in the mobile environment
In the mobile environment web pages and applications that use GoldSpot Media’s services use “cookies” and other mobile-device tracking technologies, where available and applicable, to gather Non-Personal Information.

We may collect Non-Personal Information such as the time spent viewing an ad, the number of ads clicked and other information about your interaction with the ads or content.  The purpose of this is to enable publishers and advertisers to use information from our applications to provide users with relevant content that will enhance their mobile user experience through targeted advertising.

To improve the success of advertising campaigns and as a part of the mobile services, we use a number of technologies to recognize when your mobile device views one of our participating web site’s advertisements. We also provide reports to our publishers and advertisers, to develop aggregate and anonymous statistics for distribution and to disclose and to share such information for any other business reason.

Children’s Privacy
Our application, products, services and our Site are intended for a general audience. The products, applications or services offered on our Site are not intended for purchase directly by children under 13. If you are a child under the age of 13 and desire to use this Site or purchase our applications or products or use our services, please request your parent to register with us and to complete the transaction. Any use of this Site or any of its features by a child under the age of 13 must be with parental supervision. We will keep confidential and protect your Personal Information except where disclosure is required or permitted by law. Because we cannot control the activities of third parties, we cannot accept responsibility for any use of your Personal Information by such third parties, and we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to the same privacy and security practices as we do. Change of Control
In the event that ownership or control of the GoldSpot Media was to change, your Personal Information may be transferred to the acquiring entity to continue GoldSpot Media’s services without interruption. Any changes to privacy policy mandated by change of control shall be posted on GoldSpot Media website post change of control.

Opt-out in mobile environment for unique ID recognition
While we believe that our products, applications and services enhance the experience for the user by limiting the repetitiveness of advertising and increasing the level of relevant content on the web, we respect the fact that users may not want anonymous data that concerns them to be collected. For this reason, we have created a method by which users can opt out of our collection of data associated with their mobile device’s browser and use of your mobile device’s unique ID.

If you have opted out, we will not use our applications to apply targeting that relies on the unique ID of your device or otherwise use data concerning your mobile device other than to implement your opt out decision. Opting-out does not stop advertisements from being served to your mobile device.   Rather, it prevents us from associating personally identifiable data with your device’s browser starting from the time you implement the opt out utility. It does not affect data collected prior to that time.

Consent; Amendments; Law
By using the Site and our products, applications and services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our use and management of Personal Information for the purposes and in the manner herein provided. Should this Privacy Policy change, we intend to take every reasonable step to ensure that these changes are brought to your attention by posting all changes prominently on our website for a reasonable period of time.
